Today I am offering a beautiful, hand-painted portrait of one of the most important initiates of the 18th century, Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin.

Mr. de Saint-Martin (1743-1803), known as the "Unknown Philosopher," was probably the most important Rosicrucian of the 18th century.

Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin, together with his teacher Martinés de Pasqually de la Tour, is considered the founder of Martinism, a ritual form of Rosicrucianism. His work had a profound influence on European and American Hermeticism.

The portrait is hand-painted with acrylic paints on canvas and measures 400x300mm. It is painted freely based on a newly found authentic portrait from the 18th century.

Artist's name: Jarmila Louzecka.
